Complaints and Appeals Policy

How to Submit

Complaints about journal processes, conduct, accessibility, fees, or published content and appeals against editorial decisions may be sent to editor.bioscmed@gmail.com or HM Publisher at 081949581088. Include the manuscript or article identifier, the decision or event concerned, specific grounds, and supporting evidence.

Handling

Receipt is normally acknowledged within five business days. The complaint or appeal is logged and assigned to an editor or publisher representative who was not directly involved whenever possible. Relevant records are reviewed and affected parties may be invited to respond. A reasoned written outcome is normally provided within 30 calendar days; complex integrity matters may require more time, in which case an update will be provided.

Editorial Appeals

An appeal must identify a material procedural error, factual misunderstanding, or significant scientific issue. Disagreement with reviewer opinion alone is not sufficient. An appeal does not guarantee a new peer-review round. The independent handling editor may uphold, modify, or overturn the decision, and the resulting decision is final within the journal.

Protection and Records

Good-faith complainants will not be disadvantaged. Confidentiality is protected as far as possible. Records, evidence, conflicts, decisions, and corrective actions are retained by the editorial office.
