Privacy and Personal Data Policy

Purpose and Scope

Names, email addresses, affiliations, account information, manuscript files, peer-review records, technical logs, and other data entered in this journal system are used only for editorial management, peer review, publication, research-integrity work, service security, indexing and preservation, and applicable legal obligations.

Access and Disclosure

Access is limited by role to authorized editors, reviewers, production staff, technical administrators, and service providers who require the information. Data are not sold or used for unrelated marketing. Information may be shared with indexing, DOI-registration, preservation, hosting, and email providers only as necessary to operate the journal, or with institutions and authorities when required for an integrity investigation or by law.

Retention and Security

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are applied. Editorial records are retained as needed to document decisions, preserve the scholarly record, address disputes and misconduct, and meet legal obligations. Account and operational data are reviewed and removed or anonymized when no longer required, subject to backup cycles and record-retention needs.
