Digital Preservation and Self-Archiving Policy

Digital Preservation

The journal enables OJS LOCKSS and CLOCKSS publisher manifests to support distributed preservation. The editorial office periodically verifies manifest availability and preservation participation and will activate PKP Preservation Network or another recognized preservation service when available and eligible. DOI metadata, article files, issue files, and related notices are maintained as part of the scholarly record.

Current manifests: LOCKSS Publisher Manifest and CLOCKSS Publisher Manifest. Enabling a manifest is not represented as proof of deposit unless participation is independently confirmed.

Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, Author Accepted Manuscript, and published Version of Record in institutional, disciplinary, funder, or general-purpose repositories without embargo. Deposited versions should identify the version. The Version of Record should include the full citation, DOI or journal URL, and the applicable CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. Third-party material remains subject to its own rights.

Continuity

If journal operations cease, preserved copies, DOI records, and public notices will be maintained or transferred to an appropriate custodian whenever possible.
